Meet Just Jack
We here at MTV.co.uk quite rightly predicted that 'Starz In Their Eyes' blokey Just Jack was going to be huge (look at that top 4 spot based on downloads only in this week's Top 40, for proof), so we grabbed him and gave him a good old grilling...
Karaoke song of choice?
JJ: Im sure Kylies 'Cant Get You Out Of My Head' is within my range but to be honest I've never done karaoke coz I'm too much of a pussy (laughs).
Most embarrassing record in your collection
JJ: Ive got a record by a singing duo called Gayle and Gillian " they were the twins out of Neighbours! One of them was married to Paul Robinson, do you remember them? Well Ive got a house mix of a cover they did of 'Wanna Be Your Lover' by Prince. Scarily enough its actually quite good. I didn't know who it was until my mates started laughing at me.
Favourite TV show?
JJ: I have a love/hate relationship with TV. I quite like Prison Break at the moment even though its so frustrating. Its just like, 'C'mon wheres the pay back?' They never seem to get out of there!
Do you listen to your own CD - and dance?
JJ: Every now and again, like once every two months I put it on and think, 'Actually its not 'that' crap.' But when youve finished doing a record youre sick of it.
Last time you were drunk?
JJ: I was in Bordeaux and I got so drunk I fell and smacked my head on the sink in my hotel room and cut it open. The next day everyone in the hotel looked at me with that 'Uh-oh, here he comes' expression. I couldnt remember any of it.
Last time you cried?
JJ: Id been writing an article for a magazine about the music I used to be into. I used to go raving when I was about 15 and I downloaded an old mix from pirate radio of a tune I loved in 1991 and I had tears in my eyes just listening to it! (Laughs) It was just pure nostalgia! I wasnt bawling though, I have to point out!
Celeb crush?
JJ: Monica Bellucci. She's beautiful.
Shouldn't but would woman?
JJ: (Laughs) Who was the blonde woman who used to do Pop Idol? Kate Thornton? No, no, bloody ell no. Nicky somebody. Nicky Campbell? No, not Nicky Campbell, hes a geezer isn't he? Nicky Chapman that's it. Terrible!

Ian McEwan's Atonement - it was brilliant
What's under your bed?
JJ: Loads of pairs of trainers, I havent bought them for myself though, just so you know. Im not a big trainer person.
Favourite part of your body?
(Laughs) My brain.
Most embarrassing thing that's happened to you this week?
I dont get embarrassed easily anymore, but I do put my foot in it a lot. I say things and then realise the person Im saying it about is sitting right next to me.
What makes you mad?
JJ: Having writers block. I've got a pad and every 40 pages you'll see big holes in it from where Ive just stabbed at the pages coz Ive got so frustrated.
What's your worst habit?
Talking over people when theyre trying to tell me something, my girlfriend goes mad at me for it.
