Christian Bale And Christopher Nolan To Return To Batman?
The star and producer may reunite for Justice League movie...
According to Latino Review it is rumoured that the director of the Dark Knight trilogy, Christopher Nolan, will oversee any films Warner Brothers make using characters from the DC Universe, much as Kevin Feige does for the Marvel films Disney produces.
Latino Review report that after taking this on 'godfather' role for the forthcoming Superman - Man Of Steel, Nolan will also produce the new Justice League film - which remains a high priority for the studio despite screenwriter Will Beall leaving the project.
The website goes on to speculate that Zack Snyder may direct the Justice League film, and that, most surprisingly of all, Christain Bale may reprise his role as Batman, saying,
"So like with Man of Steel, [Nolan's] going to be involved with godfathering/producing while Zack Snyder will be co-producing and will possibly be the director."
"They're shaping this [Justice League] as a vehicle for Christian Bale to reprise his role as Batman and join Henry Cavill's Superman in the Justice League movie."
Bale had previously hinted to MTV News that he wouldn't want to reprise his role as Batman, saying:
"I'm very intrigued to see another interpretation of it at this point. It would be very interesting to see what someone else does with the character... I'd be the first one there to watch."
