A Huge Hollywood Actor Just Signed Up To Join The Justice League Movie!
...and he's a good guy?!
With Batman v Superman slipping into the rear-view, DC’s all-singing, all-dancing Justice League movie is cranking up the recruitment drive ahead of its grand entrance in 2017. And with J.K. Simmons having recently signed on as Commissioner Gordon, there’s another Spider-Man old boy joining the DC family in the form of Willem Dafoe.
Dafoe famously played Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s first Spidey movie, but there will be no rubber-faced cackling this time around, as the star will apparently be playing one of the good guys. No further details have been revealed as to his character, with director Zack Snyder deciding to play this one close to the chest…

People will talk though, and the internet has already thrown up a couple of potential characters that Dafoe might be playing. Could Willem be lining up as The Flash’s dad, Henry Allen, or might he be playing Aquaman’s kindly father, Tom Curry? Those would both tick the ageing good guy box, although our money is still on a heel turn that proves Dafoe’s character to be a villain after all…
In any case, Dafoe will be joining an already hero-stuffed lineup, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg. All we know is they’re going to need to be fighting one hell of a bad guy…
Directed by Snyder, the first instalment of the Justice League saga will hit cinemas on November 17 2017.
