Bieber Anti-Paparazzi Charges Thrown Out By Judge
Snapper Paul Raef will not be punished after his car chase with JB...
A judge in Los Angeles has thrown out charges launched by Justin Bieber following the singer's high-speed car chase with paparazzo Paul Raef earlier this year.
Back in July, the Beauty And A Beat hitmaker was handed a speeding ticket for apparently going over 100mph in LA, with the 18-year old allegedly telling police he was trying to escape the paps.
JB then took action against Raef, with part of the charges related to a new anti-paparazzi law passed in 2010 - which punishes paps who drive recklessly in order to take pictures of celebrities.
The AP reports that those who are found guilty face up to six months in jail, as well as a $2,500 fine - with Raef set to be the first snapper to be charged under the new law.
However, during a hearing on Wednesday (14th November), Judge Thomas Rubinson stated that the anti-paparazzi law should be dropped, arguing that the law violates the First Amendment and doesn't take members of the public into account.
Earlier this week, Justin had another run-in with the police after illegally parking his chrome Fisker Karma electric car in Los Angeles - resulting in Biebs getting a ticket from officials.
