Justin Bieber Reportedly Wants To Be A 'Better Boyfriend' To Selena Gomez

It's pretty clear at this point that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have rekindled their relationship, and we only have to look at their multiple church outings and bike dates to realise they're stripping things back to basics.

But, as any Jelena shipper knows, these two have had plenty of ups and downs in the past and Justin in particular is keen to convince Selena that he's a better person than he was in the past.

According to a source at People, the 23-year-old is determined to gain Selena's trust again and is even trying to slowly but surely ease his way back into the Gomez household. 

"[Justin] is set on proving that he is a better boyfriend," the source began. "Justin’s family always loved Selena, but Selena’s family is still not happy about her seeing Justin.

The situation isn't totally perfect rn, with Selena's family being understandably reluctant to let Justin back into their hearts: "Selena doesn’t bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited."

On the plus side, Justin's family are more than willing to accept Sel back into the fold, with mum Pattie Mallette revealing: "I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious."

By the sounds of it, it might be a while until Selena and Justin are walking a red carpet together like it's 2011 again - but it definitely sounds like they're on the right track.
