The couple, whose house in Los Angeles, backs onto the 18-year-old's rented pad, appeared on US TV show The View and said: "The music and the parties and the paparazzi, I mean, it's like living in Lebanon now."

The Veronica Mars actress did concede, however, that: "In his defence, I will say we don't know the exact house the music is coming from.

"We just know since he moved in, the music has been blaring."

Comedian Shepherd said they were initially excited about living near the Boyfriend singer, but they soon changed their minds.

This isn't the first time Biebs has been accused of being too noisy.

ABC News reported earlier this month that a woman in the US is suing the star for $9.2 million, claiming she suffered severe hearing damage at one of his concerts two years ago.
