Justin Bieber And Ashton Kutcher Gun Hoax Arrest

A suspect has been arrested over hoax reports of gunshots being fired at the homes ofJustin Bieberand Ashton Kutcher.

US gossip site TMZ reports that the LAPD has confirmed it has arrested a minor over alleged wasting of police SWAT-team resources.

The police statement said: "On December 10, 2012, Hollywood Detectives arrested a juvenile from the Southern California region for the Ashton Kutcher swatting incident, as well as a similar swatting incident that took place at the home of Justin Bieber.

"Other swatting incidents involving this individual have been identified."

Miley Cyrus was the subject of a similar prank in the summer, but it is not known if police are connecting that incident.

Security forces apparently foiled a much more serious threat to Bieber recently.
