Justin Bieber Calls For Law Change After Paparazzo Death
Pop star wants change in legislation after tragic death of photographer...
Justin Bieber has called for a change in the law after a paparazzi photographer was killed while attempting to take photos of his car.
The photographer had reportedly been following Justin's white Ferrari along Sepulveda Boulevard, and pulled over to take snaps by the California Highway.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the man was struck by an oncoming car as he ran back to his own vehicle.
After hearing the tragic news, Bieber - who was not in the car at the time - released a statement to say: "While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.
"Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves."
The Mirror reports that LA Police are currently investigating the accident.
