Justin Bieber Heading For UK Singles No.1 & 1D Heading For Albums No.1. That Settles That Then..?

One Direction are officially on course to claimtheir fourth UK No.1 album this Friday with 'Made In The A.M.',keeping Bieber's 'Purpose' at bay...for now.

According to the Official Charts Company,1D'sfifth studio LP is currently ahead of Justinby 14,000 combined chart sales, but there's still four days to go until we crown the winner of this year's biggest chart battle.

But it's not all bad news for Biebs...

In today's 'Official Singles Chart Update', Justin looks set to end Adele's three week reign as the UK's No.1 with 'Sorry' finally edging up one space to the top spot as 'Hello' falls to No.2.

Fleur East holds her own at No.3 with 'Sax' while Jess Glynne's Children In Need single 'Take Me Home' leaps 16 places to No.4

Justin Bieber features again at both Nos.5 and 6 with album track 'Love Yourself' and former chart-topper 'What Do You Mean'.

MNEK & Zara Larsson drop two spots to No.7 with 'Never Forget You', WSTRN fall four places to No.8 with 'In2' and The Weeknd's 'The Hills' slips three places to No.9.

One Direction round off the midweek update climbing back intothe Top 10No.10 with 'Perfect'.

Elsewhere, in the wake of Friday's horrific attacks in Paris, a campaignto get Eagles Of Death Metal's Duran Duran cover'Save A Prayer'into the Official Chart has started gathering momentum, with the track entering today’s 'Official Chart Update' at No.96. The band were performing at music venue Le Bataclan, which was among one of the worst hit places in the city.
