What else does the New Year represent but new tattoos?

At least according to Justin Bieber, who has unveiled four new tatts in three days.

When the Biebs was spotted outside an LA radio station in mid-December, only a Japanese kanji tattoo was visible on his right arm, a symbol that means ‘music’ and first appeared on his body in July 2012.

Over the past few days, however, Justin has rapidly added to his tattoo collection, posting photographs of [uuid=5df6a113-2a4d-4d62-a264-b4381101961d]a compass and a jester[/uuid] on his forearm and bicep over the weekend.

Now he’s gone and inked the word ‘Love’ on his arm as well as adding a tiny music note behind his ear, bringing Bieber’s total number of tatts up to 24.

Although the Confident singer hasn’t given any clues as to the inspiration behind the new inkings, fans are wondering whether they’re a clue that Justin is back with [uuid=dde84676-4b8d-4d67-b632-d930aebe2a99]on-off girlfriend[/uuid] Selena Gomez,who has a matching music note tattoo on the side of her hand.

And last month Justin explained that his tattoos are: “A way to express myself a little bit, things I’m feeling… I design them myself, each one of them.”

But, he added, the body art comes at a price. “They don’t feel good,” Justin revealed. “Each time I get them I’m always thinking, 'Man, what was I thinking?' I didn’t remember this [much pain] last time!”
