Assault charges against Justin Bieber, following an alleged altercation between him and a limo driver in Toronto, have been dropped.

The case was scheduled to be heard in court today (September 8) but the prosecutors announced the charges were withdrawn, because it was unclear as to who actually made contract with the driver.

The charges occurred after Bieber and a group of friends were picked up from a nightclub in the early hours of December 30, when the limo driver claims he was struck when being directed by one of the group.

Though this isn't the end of Biebers legal woes, as he was arrested last week in Canada for dangerous driving and assault involving a paparazzi.

Smokey Robinson recently revealed that he "feelsvery bad for him 'cause he's on the wrong track", and would like to have a one-on-one conversation with the Confident singer and get him on the straight and narrow.
