Police in America have foiled a plot to murderJustin Bieber, where a group of former prisoners planned to kidnap, strangle and castrate the singer.
According to The Sun, two men have been arrested, with one of them found with pruning sheers in his car.
The suspects - named as Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruan - are said to have been hired to kill Biebs by Dana Martin, who is serving a 978 year prison sentence for rape and murder.
The attack on the 18-year old was apparently due to take place last month while Justin was in New York performing at Madison Square Garden.
After abducting the Boyfriend hitmaker, reports say they intended to kill the superstar by strangling him with a necktie.
Cops claim Staake met Martin in Las Cruces prison in New Mexico where he then recruited him to kill four people - with Bieber among the targeted victims.
The tabloid adds that Martin was allegedly 'obsessed' with JB, and even has a tattoo of the teen idol on his leg.
He allegedly ordered Staake to carry out "the murder and castration of Bieber and his bodyguard".
Their plot was reportedly discovered after police intercepted phone calls between the men, including a call from a disappointed Mr Ruane to Martin, allegedly telling him that the Bieber plot had not taken place.
