Justin Bieber On Lindsay Lohan Jibe: 'It Was Wrong'

Justin Bieberhas issued an apology to Lindsay Lohan after he name-checked her in a rant about the press on Instagram.


As we previously reported, Biebs referenced the Liz & Dick star's financial woes when addressing critics who have suggested he goes to rehab after a string of events in London last week.

He wrote: "And to those comparing me to Lindsey Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements ;)" He eventually took down that version of the post, and re-posted his statement, without the LiLo remark.

On Thursday afternoon (March 14), the 19-year-old apologised about the original comment, telling MTV News: "My post was only up for a few minutes but I realised right away that what I said at the end was wrong and distracted from what I was trying to say.

"I immediately deleted it and rewrote it so it would show what I was really feeling and those words are up now."

In addition to deleting the line about Lohan, Bieber added: "All this isn't easy. I get angry sometimes. I'm human. I'm gonna make mistakes. I'm gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u. Thanks."

Despite JB's apology, sources close to Lindsay have told TMZ that she's "appalled" by his comments, branding them "senseless and mean."

The 26-year old is said to have told pals that while Justin may have deleted his remark, it's 'too little, too late' and that "karma" will come back to bite the Baby hitmaker 'in the ass'.

The website adds that LiLo has no idea why Justin decided to single her out in his tirade as they have never had any issues in the past.


TMZ went on to state that Lohan has 'learned to brushed off negativity' and has decided not to worry about Bieber and his 'rude, ungrateful and obnoxious' behaviour.
