Justin Bieber has claimed that he "owes his success" to his loyal fanbase.
The 16-year old singer, who American Music Awards, also revealed that his triumph at the ceremony made his dad, Jeremy Bieber "very proud."
Justin stated: "He was just telling me how proud he was. I'm Canadian, so he was like, it's like when he sees a hockey team score a goal and he jumps out of his seat… He's like, 'Yes! That's my boy'. So it was great."
In other Bieber news, the Baby hitmaker announced this week that he will be donating a percentage of the proceeds from his latest LP, My Worlds Acoustic, to a children's charity.
