Justin Bieber 'Settles Bodyguard Assault Lawsuit'

As the Baby singer takes to Twitter to tell cops in NYC that his fans "won't hurt" him...

Justin Bieber has reportedly settled a lawsuit with his former bodyguard.

TMZ reports that Moshe Benabou - who worked with JB between 2011 and 2012 - claimed that the Baby hitmaker had assaulted him after a gig, as well as stating that Justin owed him $421,261 in unpaid wages.

Benabou also accused the 19-year old of punching him repeatedly in the chest after a concert on October 10, 2012 as he didn't like the way a member of his team had been treated.

The news that Justin has settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed sum comes as the teen idol finds himself at the centre of two criminal cases.

He recently pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs and resisting arrest in Miami Beach, while the star also turned himself in to Toronto police over charges relating to an alleged assault on a limo driver last December.

In other Bieber news, the Confident singer has taken to Twitter asking police to leave his fans alone after he was mobbed in New York.

A source told GossipCop: "A couple of cops were trying to stop the fans from going near him and pushing them back.", which left JB to tweet: "dear cops. my beliebers wont hurt me. all is ok."
