Justin Bieber Sued By Fans Because He Cancelled Meet And Greets

The Biebs has fallen foul of the law after cancelling meet-and-greets after fans spent thousands of dollars to meet him

Justin Bieber has lost a court case meaning he has to fork out thousands of dollars to some disappointed fans.

The Biebs may have wowed the world in 2016 with his impressive Purpose tour, but some fans were gutted when he cancelled on meet-and-greets.

One such fan was Melissa Matthai who splashed $1,856.35 (almost £1,500) on tickets that included a VIP package with floor seats and face-to-face time with Justin himself.

But Bieber cancelled all meet-and-greets at the start of the year – after Melissa had already bought the tickets for his gig in Miami.

Now a judge has ruled the JB was in the wrong and has demanded he stump up funds – awarding Matthai over $5,000 (£4,100) as compensation.

The court win includes legal fees as well as the ticket prices – but will be small change for Justin who is said to have made over $56 million in 2016.

He cancelled meet-and-greets as the world tour kicked off, telling fans he felt “so drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy.”

Unimpressed fans slammed him on Twitter at the time, with one writing: “You’re paid millions of dollars thanks to those fans who “drain” you. Sorry your life is so hard @justinbieber.”

Lets hope JB offers real face to face time on his next tour.
