Justin Bieber To Take Legal Action Over Those Naked Photos
The singer is not happy about the invasion of privacy.
Justin Bieber and his legal team are understandably pretty unhappy with the New York Daily News, so much so they're now threatening legal action.
The news site published naked photos of the singer on Wednesday (October 7), taken when Bieber was on a balcony on holiday in Bora Bora.
Although they added a modesty bar to their pics, the originals were still leaked online and widely spread on social media.
The Hollywood Reporter claim that Bieber's lawyers sent a cease and desist letter to the NYDN after discovering the pics, demanding they be taken down within 12 hours.
"We recently became informed that your company has obtained and is distributing unauthorized photographs of our Client including images showing him without clothing,” the letter reads.
His team are reportedly ready to begin formal proceedings in the event that the photos are not removed.
At the time of writing, they are still on the site.
While FameFly, the photo agency responsible for the images, told The Independent that there was "no invasion of privacy".
