Justin Bieber's Mum: "I Pray For Him Everyday"
Pattie Mallette defends the Baby star's recent bad behaviour...
Justin Bieber's mother has reportedly opened up about her concerns for the singer.
When quizzed about the 19-year old's recent antics - which include egging a neighbours house - Pattie Mallette is quoted by The Sun as saying that she "prays" for Justin everyday.
Mallette - who gave birth to Justin aged just 17 - is said to have exclaimed: "I think so many people go into the entertainment industry with amazing Christian roots and they go in with the right morals and they get influenced somehow.
"I think it’s important to pray for leaders and people of influence and God has put (Justin) in this place of influence.
“I ask that people keep me and Justin in their minds. I pray for him every day.”
Following allegations of drug use, Pattie went on to address her own substance abuse, with the tabloid saying she revealed: "I started self-medicating with drugs and alcohol.
"I got in with the wrong crowd. I ended up stealing and even dealing drugs. Everything sort of came to a head by the time I was 17, when I tried to commit suicide.
"People pressured me to have an abortion. But I had a very strong feeling that I was doing the right thing. It was the best decision of my life."
She added: "I pray that what happened to me will happen for everyone, for people that are struggling with pain, depression and hopelessness.
“If Justin’s struggling, don’t kick him when he’s down or condemn him — pray for him.”
Earlier this week, an LA Sheriff denied reports that drugs were found at JB's Calabasas home after police were forced to raid the property when looking for evidence in the egg throwing incident.
