Police To Interview Bieber Over 'Reckless' Driving Claim
As Justin's pal Lil Twist is pulled over for speeding in JB's car...
Police in Los Angeles have confirmed reports that they want to speak to Justin Bieber regarding claims of dangerous driving.
On Monday (May 27), it was alleged that the Los Angeles Police Department were sent to JB's home to investigate accusations that he had been driving 'recklessly' around the Calabasas neighbourhood.
It has since emerged that authorities want "a sit-down, thorough interview" with Justin in order to "set the record straight."
In a statement to the Los Angeles Times, LA Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore stated that the 19-year old is only communicating with the police through his team and not personally.
Whitmore explained: "Mr Bieber is making statements through others that he was not driving.
"If he wants to set the record straight, contact us for a sit-down, thorough interview. He has to ask himself this question, 'If you have nothing to hide, why not talk to us?'"
In a further development, Bieber's pal Lil Twist has since been pulled over by police in LA after driving too fast in the Boyfriend singer's white Ferrari.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources claimed he was given a warning for speeding - with Justin not present in the vehicle, with reports adding Lil Twist was driving away from Bieber's house.
