Police To Speak With Selena About Bieber Pap Scrap?
Police have reportedly asked to speak to Selena Gomezover boyfriendJustin Bieber's recent altercation with a photographer.
Gomez was with Justin when he is said to have[uuid=ea2ff75d-6153-4311-bf86-f5690f2b5962] got into a scrap with the pap[/uuid] as the couple left a cinema in Los Angeles together on Sunday (27th May).
She is said to have tried to calm JB down following the fight - which resulted after the snapper blocked the 18-year old's car, leaving Biebs to confront him.
The 30-year old photographer, who remains unidentified, called 911 and was then taken to hospital after complaining of chest pains. He was treated and later released.
Following reports that the Never Say Never star is now [uuid=2b508b98-ea78-43fc-afeb-b5f6dcb8c1d0]considered a suspect of misdemeanour battery[/uuid], a CA police spokesperson has confirmed that authorities want to talk to Selena.
Sgt Michael Holland was also keen to add that despite reports, the case has not yet been [uuid=2b508b98-ea78-43fc-afeb-b5f6dcb8c1d0]handed over to prosecutors.[/uuid]
He told Radar Online: "The case hasn't been referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office because the investigation is only just beginning.
"The only statement that has been given is from the alleged victim and other eyewitnesses, including Mr. Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, need to be interviewed. "
Holland added: "At some point very soon, I anticipate that detectives will formally reach out to Justin Bieber for a request for an interview, although he isn't under any obligation to do so and neither is his girlfriend."
The Boyfriend singer is yet to be [uuid=ddd94fbe-31b1-46d9-aa14-eb00b10cd635]quizzed by police[/uuid] as he is currently in Norway, with TMZ reporting that if Justin is charged and found guilty of the alleged offence, he could face up to six months in prison.
