Selena Breaks Silence Over Justin Bieber Baby Claims
As Mariah Yeater's case looks in doubt due to some suspicious texts...
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Gomez was quizzed by the chat show host regarding Mariah Yeater's claims that the Biebster is her three-month-old son Tristyn's dad, after they reportedly had sex backstage at a gig last October.
When asked by DeGeneres if she has been "alright" after Yeater's accusations hit the press, Gomez claimed: "I have been, yeah."
Ellen then said: "Everything's all good now. You knew that all along but it's nice to have everything out in the open now."
Reflecting on DeGeneres' comment, the Monte Carlo actress replied: "Yeah, it's good to just kind of… be good."
Sources close to the couple recently revealed that Selena has vowed to stand by JB, with Justin himself stating that himself and Gomez have learned to "ignore the rubbish that comes out" in the media.
Meanwhile, Yeater's paternity suit against Biebs is thought to have been proven to be false after TMZ uncovered a series of text messages which discredit her claims.
It is thought the messages were sent from Yeater to a friend, begging him to delete all texts that confirm a man called Robbie is her son's real father.
Her message reads: "Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son Ill kick u when we get paid im trusting you pleeease"
Another text to the friend says: "Would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son's life?"
The celebrity gossip website reports that the texts were given to them by Mariah's unidentified friend, who asked for his name to be blurred out by the website.
Earlier this week, Yeater's lawyer denied reports that her case against Justin had been dropped, confirming the 17-year old is still required to take a confidential DNA test.
