Motown legend Smokey Robinson has revealed he believes Justin Bieber is "on the wrong track".

During an interview with The Daily Telegraph, the star revealed he would like to chat to JB face-to-face in wake of his recent bad boy antics.

[related]When quizzed about the Confident singer, Robinson stated: "He does have genuine musical talent, but I feel very bad for him 'cause he's on the wrong track.

"And I'd like to have a one-on-one conversation with him. I met him in the beginning and he was a nice kid.

"I just think he's running with the wrong people now, and being influenced by the wrong things."

Earlier this year, he also told People that Bieber needs to consider his role model status, claiming: "I know Justin pretty good, but I would love to sit him in a room somewhere and talk with him for an hour just one-on-one.

"I would tell him that the guys that you're doing this stuff for, and in front of, and with, they have nothing to lose.

"He's not only living for himself anymore. He's too popular. So his image, and what he does, has influence on a lot of young people, so he needs to think about that."
