JT Working for the Cash
The Snake has roped in a world of stars to pay tribute to the first man of Country
When most people hear a track they like they get on their feet, maybe grab a hairbrush and let rip in the privacy of their own bedroom, when Justin Timberlake heard Johnny Cash's 'God's Gonna Cut You Down' he went a step further.
He wanted to make a video for the track, so the first thing he did was rope in one of the scene's hottest directors - Tony Kaye, who most recently worked on Dani California with the Chilli Peppers.
Then he got on the blower and before you can say 'Fulsome Prison Blues,' Bono, Kanye West, Jay Z, Chris Martin, half the Chilli Peppers, Keith Richards and the delectable Kate Moss had signed up to star in the pet project.
The result will be one of the most exciting video concepts in recent history.
