Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have finally tied the knot after five years together.

Following what was rumoured to be a rustic Italian ceremony, the happy couple released a statement to People.com, which read: "It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends."

According to US website RadarOnline, Jessica and JT kept details of their nuptials quiet - even guests were reportedly kept in the dark about the date.

But the showbiz couple flew close family and friends out to southern Italy for a week-long celebration - which estimated to have cost $6.5 million.
