Justin Timberlake: Obama Is Coolest Guy I've Met
Singer tells Jay Leno that US president made a big impression on him...
Justin Timberlake has declared that US president Barack Obama is "the coolest guy I've ever met".
Speaking to US chat show host Jay Leno, the singer-turned-actor revealed that he met the leader of the free world during a rehearsal at the White House.
He said: "Man, he's the coolest guy I've ever met. Let me just say that.
"We rehearsed and he had some meeting out of state, and he showed up on the Air Force One helicopter and I felt weird."
JT is a long-term supporter of Obama - campaigning on his behalf with now-wife Jessica Biel back in 2008.
He then did an impression of the Prez's powerful walk for Leno and the audience.
He continued: "The camera operators, the producers, everybody who was rehearsing, we all stopped to watch President Obama and he struts off the thing and it was like dead silent, and I looked at everybody and I said, 'Daddy's home'."
And Justin has also revealed that he's been learning Spanish as part of his preparation for a new role.
He will be playing record exec Neil Bogart in Spinning Gold - a movie which is still in development.
Bogart was responsible for launching the careers of Gladys Knight, Bill Withers, Donna Summer, The Village People and Kiss - among others - during his time as head of Casablanca Records.
JT told Wenn: "I can barely speak English but I do have a pretty good ear, so I'm good at mimicking things that are told to me in Spanish.
"If it was an all-Spanish speaking movie I feel it would be my responsibility to learn the language, but, as it turned out I play a guy from Princeton who has to learn a little Spanish. I know a little bit from travelling."
The star recently teased a new single release.
