Justin Timberlake is back, baby!

JT has unleashed the first of four new songs from his upcoming fifth album 'Man of the Woods', the lead single ‘Filthy”, produced by Timbaland, Danja and Pharrell.

How does it sound? Well, it quite literally sounds dirty, with grimy production slapping against funky guitar licks, while he sings of a late-night session.

Between the heavy breathing throughout and the growling plea of “Put your filthy hands all over me”, this definitely isn’t ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ 2.0.

As for the music video, it’s not much like the song itself as the ‘SexyBack’ singer acts as aSteve Jobs character who performs as a robot onstage.

Not quite as raunchy as him and Scarlett Johanson‘s steamy rendez-vous in ‘What Goes Around... Comes Back Around', although it does end with the robot seemingly having sex with a bunch of female dancers in front of the audience.

Confused? As are we.

Although, the song ends with a high-pitched digital voice asking Justin “do you see me?”, beginning the search of something greater.

With the album’s back-to-basics theme, we expect that the next three songs and visuals will start the story of soul-searching that’ll play out on the album.

If that makes ‘Filthy’ the only sexy banger on the album then that is fine by us because it’s Timberlake at his best.
