Kano vs Ironik

Age before, er, well, anyway lets start with Kano. His new offering 140 Grime St is meant to tell the story of his career so far and give us some idea where his heads at.

Its being released on his own label Bigger Picture Music which has reportedly given him more creative control. The first single Hustler has gone down a storm at MTV News HQ and shows signs of a return to the Ps & Qs era - with a wicked video to boot.

Guests on the album include Wiley, Skepta, Davinche and Ghetto.

Next to the 20-year-old from North London who many people will see as the challenger "DJ Ironik, who would no doubt argue he is the hottest mc in the game right now.

He has an undeniable online following that made his debut single Stay With Me a phenomenon. Team Ironik will be hoping they all go out and buy/download the rest of the album No Point In Wasting Tears.

Out on major label Atlantic " adding more spice to the contest " the album includes appearances from Bless Beats, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk and Elton John (!).

Will either LP challenge Kings Of Leon at the top of the UK album charts? Let the battle commence..
