Here’s Why Kanye West Visited Donald Trump Yesterday
Yesterday, Kanye West visited Donald Trump at Trump Tower in New York. When questions were put to the rapper and producer about the nature of his meeting, he was uncharacteristically quiet. But now Kanye has tried to explain himself.
Trump said at the time that the pair spoke about “life”, but Kanye took to Twitter to try and further shed light on the situation. “I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” Kanye wrote.
“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”
“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”
Kanye concluded the series of tweets by simply tweeting “#2024”, perhaps suggesting that he now, despite what he said at 2015’s MTV VMAs, he now intends to run in 2024. Is this to give Trump a ‘better chance’ (*bangs head on desk*) of having a full 8-year term, since Kanye won't be running against him?

This was Kanye’s second public appearance since his hospitalisation for over a week in late November “for his own health and safety.” His first was at the new 'Rick Owens: Furniture' exhibition in West Hollywood.
