Kanye Apologises

He's been blasted for being a sore loser but now Mr West says sorry...

It was the most controversial moment of last Thursday's EMAs: Kanye gate-crashing the stage and kicking off royally when Justice V Simian won 'Best Video' award.

In a sensational rant, the rapper, who believed he should have taken home the bacon for his 'Touch The Sky' promo spat, "F*ck dis! If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you (J Vs S), but hell man." Watch it here.

But now he's backed down. Speaking to MTV UK, he said, "I dont have anything against the group that won. Im gonna download their album right now. I didnt mean to be offensive in any way. I love you guys. I never heard of you (but) I am your friend."

The West then blamed his outburst on the sauce saying he had "a little sippy sippy" before the show and then even more "sippy sippy" after the show.

Now it's emerged that West may have been faking the whole thing - a source told New York Post gossip column, Page Six, that the hip hop star staged the tirade to play off his cocky image.

But after witnessing him continuing his tirade at the EMAs press conference, we're not sure. He's also been ripped to shreds by the media and fans alike who've labelled him among other things an "arrogant", er, git.

Some have even used worse words than that.

We know any publicity is supposed to be good publicity but if Kanye really set out to get that reaction he must have been on the "sippy sippy" way before Thursday!
