Kanye West Completes 'Dark' New Album
Kanye West is said to have completed his new album.
According to New York City radio DJ Peter Rosenberg, Yeezy's record label has already held a listening party for his forthcoming release - adding that West's sixth studio LP promises to be his darkest yet.
Rosenberg is quoted by Idolator as saying: "I just heard that Def Jam had a listening last week and everyone at the label listening to the album and loved it."
He added: "I heard it's dark, but really good."
In other related news, NBC has confirmed that Kanye will perform on Saturday Night Live on May 18 - with the series finale to be hosted by Ben Affleck.
The announcement has sparked speculation that West may perform a new song from his new album, which will serve as the follow-up to his 2010 release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
