Kanye West Doesn't Hold Back At World AIDS Concert

The rapper was a last minute replacement to fill in for Bono, who is still recovering after a cycling accident...

Kanye West took to New York City's infamous Times Square for a surprise show yesterday, to mark World AIDS Day.

[related]In trueYeezus fashionthe rapper jumped on stage as he was introduced as “the most groundbreaking artist in music today”, not that his ego needs feeding!

Kanye performed his most loved and well known tracks, though wasn't best pleased when the beat kept going for a few bars after he'd finished 'Stonger', only to shout side of stage: “Laura, next song! We’re on TV.”

We'd really hate to be Laura right now.

Also live fromthe tiny stage, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin performed with U2 minus one, as well as Carrie Underwood who wrapped up her baby bump to sing.
