Kanye West Has Had Enough Of Politics: “I’ve been used”
Kanye West has announced that he's taking a step back from politics and assisting President Donald Trump in his bid to ‘Make America Great Again,’ apparently after realising he’s been “used.”
The rapper has recently been on the receiving end of a lot of backlash from fellow celebs including Lana Del Rey, Chris Evans, and Alec Baldwin after showing support for US President during his appearance on Saturday Night Live, and sporting a MAGA hat during various recent public appearances.
But it looks as though he’s finally taking on board the advice of his peers and has tweeted that he’s distancing himself from politics.
"My eyes are now wide open and now realise I've been used to spread messages I don't believe in," he says. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative!!!"
In another tweet, the rapper thanked his family and fans for showing him support: “I would like to thank my family, loved ones, and community for supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world.”
It doesn’t end there either and Kanye goes on to give a bit of an insight into what he actually stands for.
"I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer," he writes.
