Kanye West teased that he would join Instagram earlier this year, but on Sunday morning, he made good on his word. Despite not even being on the app for a day yet, Ye has almost got a million followers. He's quite good at this social media malarkey, that Kanye.

Back in March, Kanye tweeted that he’d only join Instagram on “one condition” – that people didn’t tell him what to do on it.

So what was his first Instagram post you ask? It appears to be a still from, as UPROXX pointed out, the 1990 film Total Recall, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Check out the vehicles and the pyramid structures featured in the clip from the film below. Looks kinda similar to Kanye’s first post, don’t they?

So is Kanye just using Instagram to post up stills from a classic film? (We’re 100% in for more stills from Kanye’s favourite films.) Or is the ‘Black Skinhead’ rapper and producer teasing an upcoming Total Recall inspired music video? We’ll find out soon enough…
