Kanye West has spoken to MTV News about Jay Z’s new album The Blueprint 3.
Yeezy will be producing every song on the record but said unlike his own 808s and Heartbreak it won’t feature autotuned singing.
Speaking to MTV News in the US West said: “"We actually removed all the songs with Auto-Tune off of his album to make the point that this is an anti-Auto-Tune album, even though I released an album that has all Auto-Tune!”
Kanye continued: "It doesn't matter to me. It's music; it's just sonics.”
The Blueprint 3
will be released later in 2009 through Jay-Z
’s new label Roc Nation
. He officially left long-time label Def Jam last week.
West said: “Jay is in control of everything in his domain. He's just been working on (the album) and it's gonna be amazing when he drops it.
“I think it's good he's taking his time to give people the best product possible and not being rushed by this fast-food, media-outlet, Internet, everything-is-getting-leaked, people-stealing your-songs-before-you-can-mix-them-and-put-them-online world we're living in right now.”
UK singer Mr Hudson is likely to feature on at least two of the tracks on the album. We can’t wait to hear it!
