Kanye West Owns The Grammys Stage With 'Only One'
It was all eyes on Yeezy for the first of two Grammy performances...
Kanye West returned to the Grammys stage for the first time in six years last night (February 8) for the first of two performances, the former being his Paul McCartney collab Only One.
Taking to the stage without Macca, Yeezy, clad in a sweatsuit, stood atop a single spotlight on an otherwise black stage for the touching track written from the perspective of his late mother, Donda.
Disappearing into the darkness at the close of the track, Kanye was to return to the stage later on with Rihanna and Paul McCartney.
West lost out on the two awards he was nominated for at this year's ceremony — Kendrick Lamar won Best Rap Song for 'i', while Eminem and Rihanna won Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for 'The Monster' but he definitely won on points for capitvating an audience.
