Kanye West has revealed that he finds baby daughter North West inspirational.

Appearing on Late Night With Seth Meyers, show host Seth asked the rapper whether North – known as ‘Nori’ – has been inspiring his recent work.

“Totally, everything and my approach to life,” the doting dad replied.

West’s fiancé, Kim Kardashian, gave birth to the tiny tot last year.

The Bound 2 rapper, who is back in the studio working on a new record, even suggested that Nori has inspired his forthcoming songs to be more child-appropriate.

[related]“I think artistic, intellectual, kid-friendly songs,” Kanye suggested, adding somewhat bizarrely: “You go to Europe and there’s nudity on TV.”

“So it’s all in the way you have an understanding and appreciation for what you’re looking at and what you’re hearing and why you’re hearing it.”

Another example, he explained, was his own work: “If you think about the Yeezus album, cursing was definitely necessary.”

“I feel it’s necessary for an artist like me, a very punk, forward artist, to be on Saturday Night Live, to be on TV."

"That’s why I do TV, that’s why I come and do talk shows so you guys can have a [rip] in the Matrix every now and then.”
