Kanye West is said to have settled his alleged assault case with an 18-year old man who claimed the rapper 'punched' him in the face.

As we previously reported, Yeezy was accused of striking the teenager in Beverly Hills after he allegedly made a racial slur at his fiancée, Kim Kardashian.

TMZ has now reported that the Bound 2 hitmaker has paid a $250,000 (£157,579) settlement to the man.

The website adds that the teen will not go forward with criminal prosecution charges.

The DA is yet to decide whether or not to charge West with battery, with TMZ adding it looks unlikely as the victim is 'uncooperative'.

Kanye's civil lawyer Shawn Holley was contacted for a comment, but the US site adds they got no response.
