Kanye West Slammed By Peta After Song Diss
Yeezy baited animal welfare group with mink reference in new track...
As if Kanye West wasn't getting enough publicity already this week [uuid=9221715b-6bf6-4532-9b1d-5a6dc85afcaf]Kim Kardashian, the controversial hip-hop star has been flamed by Peta after dissing the animal rights group on his latest track.
We told you yesterday how Yeezy admitted in Theraflu that he had fallen for Kimmy, but he also had a pop at Peta with the rhyme: "Tell Peta my mink is draggin' on the floor."
And it only took Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) one day to hit back, with vice-president Dan Matthews saying: "What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings.
"He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes.
"We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons - including Russell Simmons, Pink and Natalie Portman - who have dropped animal skins."
Kanye has yet to respond in this rapidly developing "beef" - but Kim has also recently been targeted by animal rights activists, getting flour bombed because she has worn flour.
Was his provocation of Peta an act of solidarity with her?
