Kanye West Sued By Photographer

Michael Vazquez claims Yeezy assaulted him at a gig in 2008...

Kanye West is reportedly being sued by a photographer who claims that the rapper assaulted him at an event two years ago.
Michael Vazquez has said that Yeezy and his security team "assaulted, battered, beat and threatened" him at Gustavino's restaurant in New York, where he was hired to take pictures.
According to the New York Post, Vazquez is claiming unspecified damages from the Power rapper for "physical, mental and emotional illness" following an incident at the gig in 2008, where Kanye was paid $1 million to perform.
The US newspaper reports that the lawsuit against West states that the 44-year old photographer, who was invited to the event to take snaps, was assaulted by both Kanye and his "employees", leaving him with a dislocated shoulder.
The suit states: "West, his agents, servants and/or employees acting in the course and within the scope of their employment, detained and/or threatened and/or caused plaintiff to suffer injuries."
"The assault and battery was committed by defendant, Kanye West, [his] agents, servants and/or employees, with malice."

Police sources have also revealed that Vazquez's complaint against the superstar rapper was filed the day after the alleged incident, with Michael claiming that his camera and phone were taken by either security, the restaurant or Kanye.
