Kanye West Visits Donald Trump, President-Elect Says They’ve “Been Friends For A Long Time”
Trump described Kanye as a "good man".
No, this isn’t fake news. This actually happened. Earlier today, Kanye West visited Trump Tower in New York for a meeting with the President-elect.
“He’s a good man. We’ve been friends for a long time,” said Donald Trump. When asked by reporters what they spoke about, Trump responded with “Life. We spoke about life.” Kanye remained silent.
As more questions were put to the pair, Kanye, his arms crossed, continued to keep his mouth closed.
“Kanye, no comment about your meeting with the President-elect? This is the President-elect of the United States, do you have nothing to say?”
“I just want to take a picture right now,” Kanye replied. The pair laughed, embraced, Trump told Kanye to take care of himself, and they separated.

This is Kanye’s second public appearance since his hospitalisation for over a week in late November “for his own health and safety.” His first was at the new Rick Owens: Furniture exhibition in West Hollywood.
It's possible that Kanye and Trump have met because the President-elect is, according to The Wrap, struggling to find performers for his inauguration ceremony. Apparently, almost nobody wants to do it, including MTV-favourite Zara Larsson, who told the BBC that she "would never do it." Could Kanye be about to help Trump out? Let's hope not.
