Kanye West’s Puppet Show

The rapper is working on a muppets style TV programme

Kanye West has made a new TV show where puppets meet hip hop.

The Love Lockdown singer has produced the pilot programme and hosted it, for Comedy Central- according to 'The Hollywood Reporter'.

The project- called Alligator Boots- could hit TV screens in 2009 if bigwigs approve Wests work and would feature original songs by him and fellow Chicago MC Rhymefest.

A different celebrity guest would also feature each week according to reports.

US talk show host Jimmy Kimmels production company is also involved in making the programme.

Kanye is currently putting finishing touches to his fourth album- which is rumoured to be called 808s and Heartache.

The first single from the LP will be Love Lockdown which West premiered at the MTV VMAs earlier this month.
