Kanye’s Mum Dies

Kanye Wests mother Donda has died on Saturday November 10 in Los Angeles.

She passed away "as the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure," her publicist said.

Donda West managed much of her rapper sons career and was also a former professor of English in Chicago.

She wrote a book called Raising Kanye about her son which was published this year. The Late Registration star has spoke a lot about Donda in his music including the track Hey Mama.

A cause of death has not been released, though some reports suggest it was from complications during surgery.

Its thought Kanye was in London at the time of her death. He is currently due to start his UK tour on November 22.
