Earlier this week the rapper posted the 14 minute movie called We Were Once A Fairytale (and featuring his track See You In My Nightmares) on his blog but mysteriously took it down soon after.

Jonze- whose movie Where The Wild Things Are is currently top of the US box office- told the New York Times that Kanyeezy got carried away.

He said: “I think he was like, ‘Oh, it’s out. I’ll link to it.”

Of the bizarre short - which includes sex scenes and West pulling a demon from his stomach Jonze continued: “We rehearsed the night before we shot, and talked about trying to get to that raw place, that sad, pathetic, drunken, lost place.

“I told him, the more shameless it is, the more pathetic it is, the better. He just went for it.”

Music video legend Spike- responsible for classics for The Beastie Boys, Fatboy Slim and Biggie- also told the newspaper he’s a big fan of the rapper.

He said: “I like Kanye and I care about him. This video is a side of him. I don’t know what the reception is going to be, but I love making stuff with him. I love the guy.”
