West Won't Battle Fiddy
Kanye says the pair won't fight it out in front of a TV audience as their two albums are released.
Kanye West and 50 Cent are NOT going face to face on TV to debate over whose new album is better according to the Graduation star.
Chicagos finest producer/MC is releasing his new LP on September 11 the same day as Fiddys Curtis hits the streets.
According to reports the rappers were to have a presidential style debate on the merits of both of their third LPs but that now seems off.
West talked about the idea of a debate during a recent radio appearance in the US with Curtis then saying on TV:I accept the challenge. Kanye- he's not going to want to show up. Just don't be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying - so I am conscious.
But Kanye has exclusively told MTV: "I don't have beef with anyone What am I going to debate about? I'm going to go in the studio and make music. When I heard the thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing."
Some have said the battle is representative of hip hops problems with 50s commercial music facing off against Kanyes arguably more intelligent sound.
West also appeared conscious on yesterdays TRL saying: "With 50's album dropping and my album dropping on the same day, everybody wins because you get a lot of good music on the same day."
