Kanye Confirms That He’s Making Music With Drake AND Is Going To Start Making Clothes For Kids
There was a tonne of Kanye news this week, so let’s cut to the biggest headline first. Yes, Kanye and Drake are making music together. AND INHALE. Still here?
Confirming the news, Ye said: “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together, just having fun going into the studio...We’re working on an album, so there’s some exciting things coming up soon.”
According to Vogue, “he declined to give a release date.”
In that same interview with Vogue, the ‘Black Skinhead’ rapper and producer also discussed a full line of children clothes that he’s been working on, inspired by clothes him and Kim Kardashian have been making from scratch for their children North and Saint.
He also shared details on a jewellery line he’s working on, which he called “a letter to my wife from a past life that can live past our lives.”
Unlike every other breathing human - Britney Spears Doesn’t Listen To Britney Spears
Speaking to Flaunt, Britney said: “I don’t really listen to my music. My kids and my nieces do. I’m about the creative process – I’m in the moment of being creative, and then I put it out there.”
“Of course, I sing my songs every night and I have to listen to it that way, but I’m all about change,” the ‘Toxic’ singer added. “But there’s a part of me in my music, and I hope that my fans can have that part of me when they hear me on the radio, buy my CD or whatever they do.”
The Weeknd Says He Wishes He Could Write More Political Songs
We wish everyone did, mate.
Speaking to V Man, the ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ singer said: “I wish I could make music about politics. I feel like it’s such an art and a talent that I admire tremendously, but when I step into the studio I step out of the real world, and it’s therapeutic.”
"It’s an escape, but recently it’s been very hard to ignore, and it’s also been very distracting. Maybe you’ll hear it in my voice, but it is not my forté."
A Tupac Shakur Restaurant Is Opening On The 20th Anniversary Of The Rapper’s Death
Next week will see a pop up 2pac-themed restaurant opening in California to mark the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s death.
Taking its name and menu items from sketches the ‘All Eyez On Me’ rapper once mapped out for a cookbook and restaurant, the pop up venue will open up for business next Tuesday (September 13).
NME reports that “Items on the menu will include a California Love Chicken Sandwich, Hennessy Apple Butter chicken wings, mac-and-cheeseburger and Thug Passion cake pops featuring champagne cake with Alize liqueur-flavoured frosting.”
