Kasabian showcased three new songs last night (August 3) at a special MTV Live gig at MTV headquaters.

The band, who release their new album Empire on August 28, showcased three tracks from the new LP in front of the intimate audience of competition winners and invited guests at the Motorola-sponsored performance.

The new tracks were Shoot The Runner, Stuntman and current single Empire, all of which are big stompers fresh out of the Kasabian stable. All the new material was warmly received by those in attendance, much to the delight of singer Tom Meighan, looking resplendent in a flowing white shirt and neckerchief. Ooh hes dapper.

In addition to new tracks, Kasabian got their hits out, smashing Club Foot and LSF, then closing with Processed Beats as an added bonus after inviting requests from the audience.
