Kasabian’s Serge Planning All-Night Snowbombing Party
EXCLUSIVE! Guitarist "can’t wait" to headline festival...
Serge Pizzorno has said he’ll be partying all night after his band Kasabian headline Snowbombing 2013.
Speaking to MTV News ahead of travelling to Austria to perform at the much-loved festival, Serge revealed he struggles to sleep after playing big shows.
“Before the gig I don't tend to wake up until 1pm,” revealed the rocker, who has headlined with Kasabian at V and Reading & Leeds in recent summers.
“I just keep the curtains shut and don't leave the hotel until 4pm. I like it dark all the way, even in the changing room.”
Serge continued: “Headlining is this huge rush and then it’s impossible to go to bed. There are people who can do it, but I can’t calm down so I just carry on until I stop.”
While at Snowbombing, the 32-year-old insists he won’t be shooting down Mayrhofen’s stunning slopes in case he injures himself.
“I don’t think I’ll be doing any of that,” he laughed, after we asked if he will be skiing or snowboarding at the festival.
“Imagine if I broke my wrist – it would be too embarrassing to admit. But I will certainly be enjoying the mountain air and the gig looks insane so I can't wait.”
