V Festival Turns 15
As acts pay tribute to singer who committed suicide...
As well as playing crowd-pleasers Plan B, Tinie Tempahand Paolo Nutini. As the festival celebrated its 15th birthday, it was fitting to have two acts on the bill that played at the first V back in 1996 – Stereophonics and Paul Weller.
Several acts including The Kooksand La Rouxused their sets to pay tribute to singer Charles Haddon from Camden band Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, who committed suicide yesterday at Belgium's Pukkelpop festival.
