Prince Charles has told reporters he's "thrilled" about becoming a grandfather.
According to Sky News, the Royal was quizzed over the announcement that son Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their first child together.
Charles also joked about a prank phone call made by two Australian radio DJs to the King Edward VII hospital where Kate was being treated for morning sickness, telling the journalists: "How do you know I'm not a radio station?"
He went on to address the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby news, stating that he's "thrilled" and describing it as "marvellous."
Wills' dad added: "It's a very nice thought, grandfatherhood, in my old age, if I may say so, so that's splendid.
"And I'm very glad my daughter-in-law is getting better, thank goodness."
Earlier today (5th December), Middleton left hospital with William, and will now stay at Kensington Palace for a period of rest.
