Kate Winslet has revealed the name of her bouncing baby boy… and it’s Bear!

Baby Bear was born to actress Kate and her husband, Ned Rocknroll, earlier this month at hospital in Sussex.

The tiny tot was the perfect anniversary gift for Kate and Ned, who is the nephew of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson. After meeting on Branson’s private island, Necker, the couple married last December in New York where Kate’s Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio allegedly walked her down the aisle.

Bear is the first son for Ned, who legally changed his name from Abel Smith years ago, while Kate already has two children, Mia, 13 and Joe, ten. The newborn will reportedly take his mother’s surname, however.

A source told The Sun, “They are all doing so well, they both absolutely adore him — and the name Bear.”

Winslet is not the first celeb to give her child the unusual - and cuddly - name: chef Jamie Oliver’s son is called Buddy Bear while Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone named her two-year old son Bear Blu.

Kate hasn’t yet been spotted out and about with her newest bundle of joy as she is currently at home nursing and, no doubt, getting plenty of Bear hugs!
